Presentation Book Planning

A presentation book begins with a publication project brief with a defined sender, audience and most importantly a message, along with publication specifications. This is followed up by a content outline of your message, and then organization of the content into a flat plan.

These are examples of project planning templates for a different, but similar class publication project.
Use them as a guide to make your own, replacing their content and objectives with your project's particulars.

This is the first page of a 168 page flat plan that I used to design the 2002 Utah Travel Guide, a complicated document designed for a somewhat disorganized client who was attempting to be the editor on the publication. It was used as much to help get the client organized as it was to help in the design of the book.

Here is a flat plate template that you can use for your project. Add to it as needed.
